About Becky Otis

Becky Otis is a Maryland Registered Psychology Associate and Nationally Certified School Psychologist. With experience in both  school systems and pediatric behavioral health settings, Becky has worked with individuals across a wide age range, from preschool through college, and appreciates the unique developmental and learning needs at each stage.

Becky provides comprehensive psychological assessments for children and adolescents, with a focus on autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning differences, and social-emotional challenges. Her evaluations incorporate clinical interviews, caregiver input, behavioral observations, and standardized testing to develop a thorough and nuanced understanding of each child’s strengths and needs. Becky’s background in school systems gives her valuable insight into how families can navigate educational processes such as 504 plans and IEPs, access appropriate resources, and collaborate effectively with school teams.

In addition to assessment, Becky offers individual therapy for children and adolescents with anxiety and/or ADHD. She recognizes the importance of tailoring interventions to each child’s unique profile and utilizes evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Understanding that parents play a vital role in their child’s development, Becky also provides parenting consultations to equip families with strategies and support for fostering growth and wellbeing.

Becky holds a Master’s Degree and an Educational Specialist Degree in School Psychology from The College of William and Mary, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Towson University.
